Mat Middleton

Mat Middleton has over 30 years of experience in Enterprise Service Management (ESM), with a strong track record of scaling consulting businesses and leading global practices.
Most recently, he served as CEO and Global Head of ServiceNow Practice at Atos (2017–2024), where he grew a $20M firm into a $115M global business with 1,000 employees across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. Under his leadership, the practice achieved industry-leading CSAT scores and sustained profitability (11% EBITDA), while expanding delivery centers in Poland, Romania, Singapore, and India.
Mat began his career at Fujitsu/ICL, earning back-to-back Salesperson of the Year honors before co-founding a consulting firm focused on ITIL and Peregrine Systems. That company became an early ServiceNow partner in 2006/07 and was later sold, repurchased, rebranded as Engage ESM, and ultimately acquired by Atos. Along the way, Mat led multiple acquisitions and evaluated more than 20 companies in the competitive ServiceNow ecosystem.
In addition to his leadership roles, Mat is a seed investor in a UK consulting firm and holds investments in several consumer ventures in Spain.
A British national, he splits his time between London and Dallas with his wife, Linda. They enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, and boating around the Mediterranean.
